Magento security hardening and speed.

We harden, patch and speed up Magento and Adobe Commerce stores, including the versions Adobe no longer patches.

Magento first

What we do on Magento / Adobe Commerce

  • Security backports for 2.3.x and early 2.4.x where a fix helps more than one store, free, listing only the versions we've tested
  • Incident response: containment, forensics, cleanup, credential rotation
  • Pen-test remediation with a written fix log, plus WAF, bot and CSP hardening against skimmers
  • Varnish, Redis and Elasticsearch or OpenSearch tuning, plus zero-downtime deploys

Everywhere else

And on every other platform

  • Performance engineering on any stack: server response, caching, Core Web Vitals
  • Pen-test remediation and WAF hardening for any platform you run
  • Incident response and forensics, wherever the store is hosted
  • Deploys with a rollback plan written before the release

Securing Magento versions Adobe no longer patches

Adobe's lifecycle policy is blunt: when a version leaves support, its security patches stop. Magento 2.3.x isn't even listed. 2.4.4 and 2.4.5 used up their extended support on April 14 and August 11, 2026, and get "limited isolated security fixes only" until May 31, 2027. 2.4.6 keeps extended support until August 31, 2027, then gets the same until May 31, 2028. Adobe calls those security-only windows a one-time exception. And the policy is written for Adobe Commerce: it never says Magento Open Source gets those extensions at all.

Those stores still take orders every day. Where a fix helps more than one store, we backport it to the versions Adobe skipped, test it, and will publish it as a Composer package with a public diff on our free Magento security patches hub. Around the patches we do the rest: pen-test remediation retested against every bypass variant we can find, WAF, bot and CSP hardening against skimmers, credential rotation, and incident response when it has already happened. Store hacked or down? Get help now.

Then we make it fast: Varnish and Redis tuned, the search engine sized for the catalog, indexers and cron under control, and deploys that compile before the switch, so releases don't take checkout down. When you're ready to move up, Magento version upgrades start from a patched, stable store. Security reviews cover AI too: our AI admin assistants with read-only safeguards never get write access to orders or payments. Every fix ships through our review and security gates.

How we work

Four steps. Written down before anyone opens an editor. The full process →

  1. Triage

Stop the bleeding first, whether it's a live breach or a checkout that times out.

  2. Understand

Forensics for incidents, profiling for slow pages. Root cause before any fix.

  3. Fix

Patch, harden and tune, then retest every finding.

  4. Prevent

Patch alerts, monitoring and a written plan for the next CVE.

Proof, not adjectives

  • Retested

Pen-test findings closed and retested against every bypass variant we could throw at them.

  • ms, not s

Server response times cut from seconds to milliseconds.

  • Backported

Security fixes backported to Magento versions Adobe no longer patches.

Engagement models

Next: AI
  • Project

Builds, replatforms, integrations and audits, scoped in writing before work starts.

  • Retainer

A standing team and a monthly budget for development, SEO and content, and platform care.

  • Fractional head of ecommerce

Senior ecommerce leadership, part time: roadmap, vendors, a P&L lens, and hands on the code when needed.

  • Emergency

Hacked, down or bleeding orders. Triage first: a written reply within one business day, then a plan.

Stuck on an old version? We'll patch you now and upgrade you when you're ready.
